Important Update On The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
The Prime Plaza Hotel and Suites Sanur - Bali would like to update you on the Coronavirus outbreak. We have been guided by the Indonesian Health Department and we are following all protocols set by local authorities.
As of 13th February 2020 (6 weeks since the first known case was reported), Indonesia has not had any confirmed cases of the Coronavirus.
WHO (World Health Organization) is currently reporting that one person has died as a result of Coronavirus outside of China. https://www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/situation-reports/20200213-sitrep-24-covid-19.pdf?sfvrsn=9a7406a4_4
The Health Department also has advised that the Coronavirus can only be transmitted from human to human when the humidity is less than 30%. With the humidity in Bali averaging 75%, it will be extremely difficulty for the virus to spread. The Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur - Bali has progressively implemented several precautionary measures, including intensifying the cleaning and disinfecting of public areas and common touch points to every hour and installing hand sanitisers in public areas.
We will continue to update you with any new developments, if you have any concerns please email us at pr@sanur.pphotels.com
